Pearl Q. Denmon
Earl Denmon, also known as Pearl, is a talented visual producer, editor, artist, musician and just an all-around creative in general. Born on May 26, 1995 in San Antonio, he has always been drawn to the creative arts. After graduating high school overseas in Vicenza, Italy, he went straight to Florida Institute of Technology to study Computer Science as an undergrad. After realizing this was not quite the ideal career path for him, Pearl pursued his passion for the arts and studied Graphic Design at Full Sail University. He later received his certification in Media Communications from the same university and immediately set sail to New York in 2018—his current home.
Pearl's career path has been as diverse as his skillset. He has worked as a Creative Director and currently works in Media Communications as a sponsored content creator. Over the years, Pearl has achieved numerous notable accomplishments. When he was dabbling in the fashion industry, he had his first show for his former brand (GEM&I) at the Sky Room in Midtown-Manhattan at the beginning of 2019, and later co-directed & even participated as a featured designer for his 2nd fashion show—this time with Dapper Dan as a special guest. Although his pursuit in fashion made another turn similar to his past pursuit in Computer Science, Pearl used his wide range of experiences as a creative in the industry to mentor undergraduate interns from Brooklyn College and Parsons School of Design. Towards the end of 2019, Pearl made one last run with fashion and toured Italy for Milan Fashion Week where he also shot his first official international campaign for Naurah USA. This was the peak of his budding career as Creative Director for the start-up marketing & event production agency he worked for at the time.
In 2020, Earl carried on his independent services as a freelancer primarily working in graphic design. He later kickstarted a lifestyle brand formerly known as ‘Piuma’ in 2021 as—you guessed it—its creative director. To make up for what was lost during the pandemic, he also started a YouTube channel aimed at teaching basic life skills and starting conversations with close friends.
Towards the end of 2021, Pearl became a full-time sponsored content creator at Brkfst and was later promoted to be part of the agency's team of elite content creators. He had his first international ad campaign for a corporate brand featuring his content in 2022 and has since been acknowledged as a quality supplier for a number of big brands.
Pearl's personal interests & hobbies are just as varied as his career path. In his free time, he enjoys writing poems and creative essays, along with songwriting and composing his own acoustic arrangements on the piano. Music is his first love, and he's always tuned-in to everything ranging from classic oldies to the latest niche songs and artists of today. Drawing & painting are the two prime mediums to how he formed a basis for Fine Arts which eventually led him to Graphic Design. Pearl also grew up being the designated photographer/videographer in his family and in turn sparked his curiosity to push the bounds of his own visual arts that you see today. Gaming serves as both a fuel for inspiration and a hobby for him as well. He's a big fan of horror games, single player games and most classics from the Playstation 2 and Nintendo 64 line of games. Lastly, Pearl really likes to go on long walks (with or without the beach), especially in a place like New York where you see something new almost every day :)
Throughout all the highs and lows, Pearl Q. Denmon's creative talents & achievements make him a notable figure in his own world of visual production, editing and artistry, and you’re more than welcome to stop by and say hello.
